Valbo Trä is a manufacturing company in the wood products industry (planing, painting, impregnation and manufacturing of frames and trusses) and in our various locations (Valbo, Skutskär, Edsbyn) we have different areas where potentially dangerous situations can arise, e.g. where large heavy vehicles (wheel loaders) and people move in close proximity of each other.

Why did you choose Worker Safety by Invotech?

We had a dialogue with Invotech and realized that they have the solutions we need to create a safer work environment, and the simplicity of handling the solution was a key factor for us to choose Worker Safety by Invotech.

How has Worker Safety by Invotech affected your business operations?

The staff has been involved in the implementation and we have gained an even greater focus on personal safety. Worker Safety by Invotech gives us a complementary tool to get alarms about e.g. Man-down and emergencies for employees in real-time at the workplace, but also the opportunity to identify places and situations where we can improve safety even more with the help of fact-based information.

A plus is that with Worker Safety by Invotech we can communicate via voice in the mobile network in case we have a Man-down or if an employee has an emergency situation where he/she and quickly can get help.

What is the opinion of the employees?

The employees have been very positive and involved in this initiative and feel that we focus on making everyday life in the workplace even safer and more secure.
