Gyllsjö Träindustri AB is one of the Nordic region's leading manufacturers of EUR pallets and other pallets in special formats. Why did you choose Worker Safety by Invotech?

We have an integrated production chain and e.g. so we pick up timber in the forest with our own timber trucks and our own drivers. The timber truck drivers work alone and do several things such as loading and securing the load, which means that the driver changes places between the cab and the crane where several risks for e.g. falls and crush injuries are present.

We discussed with Invotech how we can help our employees more quickly if an accident should occur. After a review of Worker Safety by Invotech, we found that this solution is one of the keys to improving the safety of our timber truck drivers. We will also use the solution for our employees and contractors who perform solo work on site with us at the production unit.

How has Worker Safety by Invotech affected your business operations?

We have become even more focused on improving the safety of our workplaces. Worker Safety by Invotech gives us a complementary tool to act quickly in real time if there are incidents for employees, temporary staff, visitors, etc. in the workplace, but also the opportunity to identify places and situations where we can improve security even more with fact-based information.

A plus is that with Worker Safety by Invotech we can communicate via voice in the mobile network in the event of a fall accident or if an employee has ended up in a situation where he/she alarms himself/herself so we can quickly deploy the right help.

For us, it is important to work continuously with work environment issues and workplace safety and to find smart solutions that can give us better support in these processes.
